Our Goals

We are three graphic designers/illustrators/printmakers who are looking to
spread state and city pride worldwide! We are all from somewhere and it’s time we
show some hometown pride! We’ve always felt that there are three main areas
of concentration in our shirts…Good Typography, Good Design, and Good Humor!

Our History

Three campers shared a sense of humor, a passion for art, and a love of typography.
They wanted to wear their hearts on their sleeves. And they hoped you might wear
them too!

While the official beginning date of Campfire is up for debate, this much is true:
An email was sent from one camper to the others on Tuesday, September 6th, 2005.
It read something along the lines of, “No more messing around, let’s do this.” That’s
all the kindling it took and we were off and running.

In mid January 2006, the first match was struck in the form of a gallery show at
Square Records in Akron, OH. Campfire shared its warmth with the Great Lakes region
in what became the first of many shows across the country. That January also saw the
launch of the first version of our website, weareCampfire.com.

In just over two years, we have branched out into stores all across the US and CANADA!
We are practically carnies at this point, attending lots of craft fairs and street festivals
nationwide!!!! We are always looking to grow and reach out to more and more people
every day. We need to spread the state and city pride to all cities and all states!
